A week ago, we wrote about how you can search to benefit San Clemente-based ocean philanthropy Surfrider. Tonight, it gets better: You can shop for Surfrider. And drink.

From 6 to 8 p.m., there’ll be a “Blue Party” at body-care retailer Kiehls in South Coast Plaza. You can mingle with Billabong pro surfers, imbibe “blue Oceantinis” and “blue cupcakes,” scope out Billabong’s latest collection and shop for such quality products as Kiehl’s Cuddly-Coat Grooming Shampoo.

The event is being put on with the help of Ocean Magazine. Proceeds benefit Surfrider.

Thanks to Greers OC for the tip, and a priceless line: “The Blue Parties benefit the Surfrider Foundation and celebrate things that we love: protecting the ocean and Kiehl’s incredible skin and hair products.” Amen to that.
